The Southland Regional Development Strategy (SoRDS) has set the goal of having 10,000 more people living in Southland by 2025. Nine action teams, lead by local business leaders, have developed detailed action plans to achieve this goal.
We were engaged to develop a recognisable brand for SoRDS and material to assist with communication to and engagement with the local community. This needed to be instantly recognisable as ‘local’, yet not aligned to the look of any existing local government entity.
We developed a professional, corporate and contemporary look and feel which incorporated structured fonts, a recognisable square element and a colour palette of navy and green.
In application, this was paired with beautiful Southland lanscapes and people enjoying all our region has to offer and infographics to help tell the story visually at a glance.
We designed a suite of material including a brochure, stationery, email newsletter template, PowerPoint template, badges for action team members and action plan document.
