Opus International Consultants is a leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure consultancy firm with a global presence.
Their Southland branch has however faced some challenges in achieving brand recognition within the local community.
They engaged us to assist them in developing a local angle to their brand, and assist in communicating exactly what services they offer and for whom.
We began by developing a strategic marketing plan for Opus Southland, which provides a roadmap for their local marketing and communication activity. With the plan now in place, we are providing ongoing services to implement the planned initiatives.
One of the first projects was the delivery of a brand and language articulation workshop, aimed at getting all Opus Southland staff to develop a shared and positive vocabulary to talk about the company in both business and social contexts. Findings from the workshop were also applied to written and visual communications.
Other initiatives have included the development of sales portfolios showcasing their local projects and capabilities within the urban and rural markets, and the management of public relations and PR activity including media releases and client events.
