Milmeq is an engineering company specialising in systems and equipment for the primary food processing sector.
With operations in Auckland, Dunedin and Brisbane, their industry leading innovations have gained them recognition as a global leader along with an international client base.
Milmeq initially engaged us to assist them in clearly articulating their brand to enhance the effectiveness of their external and internal communications.
Following the success of this project, they engaged us on an ongoing basis to provide a fully outsourced marketing service.
We began with a thorough discovery process to understand how internal and external stakeholders viewed Milmeq. This included meeting with clients, directors, management and staff across all three sites, plus a review of all existing marketing and communications material.
Based on these findings we then developed a cohesive brand story, which tracks the company’s trajectory from its historical roots, through the decades of growth and expansion, to its international recognition today. The story highlights a number of key pillars which are defining values for the brand. At the same time we developed a set of guidelines as to how these brand pillars should be communicated through design and language. The final brand story was presented as a book and video.
We are now providing full brand management services to Milmeq. This includes refreshing their website and other marketing tools to bring these in line with the brand story, development and implementation of a communications and strategy to ensure their brand pillars are effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders, and managing their presence at trade shows around the world.
